Wow! This years show started out with a blast. I got to meet and talk with the super cool Tom Bilyeu the host of Impact Theory. I listen to his youtube show while creating art. Looking forward to seeing Impact Theory Comics first story.
Then I got to catch up with one of my karate students that I haven’t seen since he was 10 years old. It was crazy cool seeing him after all these years. All 3 days of the show were extremely busy. I enjoyed meeting and talking with friends and fans.

Been meaning to share this finished sketch cover but was busy finishing up Christmas commissions. So here it is, the Luke Skywalker Sketch Cover that I finished up just in time from the release of The Last Jedi. I’ve been looking forward to this movie for the last 2 years. The cover was rendered with Liquitex paint and Free•Style brushes.
Started the paint stage of this Luke Skywalker Sketch Cover. Here is the result of the using Liquitex free•style splatter brush and adding the glow to the star field with dry brush blending.
Finished laying down Luke Skywalker pencils on the Shattered Empire Sketch Cover. Looking forward to adding paint to this in the near future. Can’t wait to see The Last Jedi next month.
