Had a fantastic time boothing with these amazing friends Cathleen & Cassandra Abalos, Dean & Glady Rullan, and Matthew Walker at SDCC 2019. For me there is nothing like being part of comic conventions. It’s when I feel the most alive beside when creating art. Exhibiting is exhausting, but in other ways it sets my soul of fire, the whole essence of my being always comes away feeling more alive, energized and inspired from exhibiting.
A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!!
This year Comic-Con celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. I Didn’t get a chance to adventure around SDCC floor much, but here’s a little bit of what I did get some shots of this year.
Gearing up for WonderCon with this painted Flashpoint Batman Sketch Cover. I will have this and other sketch covers available at my table in Artist Alley C-56. Rendering with Faber-Castell PITT artist pens and Liquitex paint.
Had a great time this past Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the Latino Comics Expo in Modesto, CA. There was a buzz in the air from opening until closing on both days. It was great hanging out and catching up with homies Tony English, Dan Mendoza and John Narcomey. A huge THANK YOU! to everyone that came to the show and stopped by my table, I appreciate all your support with my artistic journey.
I’ve been busy gearing up for the upcoming 2019 convention season with Unique Realm Illustrated Issue # 2 featuring Twisted Fate and some new swag to go along with the release of issue #2. It’s exciting to share with you the sample artwork for the Twisted Fate Lanyard.
Here are some of the highlights from my 2018 SDCC experience. I did a couple portfolios this year. I saw the awesome Joe Jusko, he’s the reason I decided to pick up a brush and start painting. His new art book “Joe Jusko’s Marvel Masterpieces” was on sale and I was able have it signed. I visited my art friends booths, had a look at the many exhibitors, took pictures of cosplayers and hangout with family and friends while I was there. I took way to many pictures to share them all so here are some of my favorites.
Comic Con Revolution was a blast! One highlight of the show was meeting Jason Aaron. It was great seeing all the amazing creative talents at the show especially my Con Family, thank you for inspiring and motivating me! You all Rock!!! Also a huge Thanks to everyone that stopped by my table!! Looking forward to next years show!
