Harry Potter pencils all finished up for an upcoming gallery show. Now on to the ink stage.
I was going through some of my art archives and came across this old Vampire watercolor painting and thought I’d share it with you.
I took a needed little break from some freelance projects and knocked out this Seven Sister Sketch Cover pencils. I will be adding color to this in the near future.
I was hoping to have this finished up before Guardians Vol 2 hit the theaters but I’ve been swamped with freelance projects. I hope you enjoy the finished pencils for now until I get the painted version done.
Wow! What a great first year show! If was crazy busy from opening to ending. The crowd was very energetic and appreciative to have a show in their area. Talked with a few people and they mentioned it was the first comic convention they have ever been to. It was great seeing and meeting new fans along with catching up with friends. Definitely looking forward to next years show!!

For the one year anniversary of the passing of Prince, The Prince Army teamed up with Steve Parke for a chance to win his the upcoming book Picturing Prince. A total of fifteen winners would be selected out of the entries. For a chance to win the book you had to create any type of art inspired by Prince and tell why you created the art. I learned on Friday, May 5, 2017 that I had been choosen as one of the winners. I’m very honored and humbled to be part of the group of winners. It’s fantastic seeing all the different styles of creativity inspired by the man who touched our lives so profoundly! Mr. Parke took the time to comment on each of the winners artwork and why he chose it. Thanks you Prince Army and Steve Parke for putting this contest together!
