Here is the finished Disney animation style on my character Nyx with the background all finished up. She is the main character of Twisted Fate featured in my indie comic magazine Unique Realm Illustrated. Looking forward to having this made as a new shirt design.
Here is my process for creating the background for this illustration. After scanning the traditional Nyx painting, I then imported it in Photoshop. The background design was created using both Illustrator and Photoshop. The main moon background was digitally paint and placed into the Mucha border frame. Border elements were created in Illustrator and imported into Photoshop. Each design element was placed on different layers until the look that I was going for came together.
The Twisted Fate Lanyards have arrived and will be added to my website store soon. These were created to go with the release of Unique Realm Illustrated Issue #2 featuring Twisted Fate which will be going to print soon.
Finished the painting stage on this experiment with a Disney animation style on my character Nyx. She is the main character of Twisted Fate featured in my indie comic magazine Unique realm Illustrated. This stage was rendered with Copic Markers, Faber-Castell PITT artist pens, Dr Ph. Martin’s Bleed Proof White and acrylic paint. Up next is the scanning stage and adding the background to this painting.
Haven’t had a chance to share this yet. Here’s the progress shots of my Deadpool painting from my 2018 Xmas Card that was sent out to friends, fans and family.
Here are some of the highlights from my 2018 SDCC experience. I did a couple portfolios this year. I saw the awesome Joe Jusko, he’s the reason I decided to pick up a brush and start painting. His new art book “Joe Jusko’s Marvel Masterpieces” was on sale and I was able have it signed. I visited my art friends booths, had a look at the many exhibitors, took pictures of cosplayers and hangout with family and friends while I was there. I took way to many pictures to share them all so here are some of my favorites.
I’ll be at the EAST LA C.A.P.E! this Saturday May 12th 2018 at the El Gallo Plaza • 4545 East Cesar E Chavez Avenue • East Los Angeles, CA 90022.

Palmdale Book Festival & Artown Fusion at Legacy Commons in Palmdale was blast yesterday. It’s great local event that has different styles of art for everyone to enjoy. One of the best parts is being able to talk to about the techniques used to create art. Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat and have a look at my artwork.
