It’s great seeing people enjoying and experiencing all forms of the arts at Kaleidoscope Palmdale’s Art & Music Festival yesterday! One of my favorite parts about exhibiting is talking to kids interested in pursuing the arts and talking to everyone about the types of artwork they are drawn to and like. Thanks to the Palmdale Rec and Culture staff for putting on a great event to be apart of!! Looking forward to next years event!
A Huge Thank You to everyone that stopped by my booth! I deeply appreciate all your support!!

Made a little more progress of this Halloween inspired Batman Red Rain painting. In this second painting stage, I used dry brush technique. I like the way dry brush picks up the texture of the paper while layering the paint. Next up will be finishing up Batman and then adding in the background.
Here is progress shot 3 for this Flashpoint Joker Sketch Cover. I started by working on the right side collar first. From there, I moved onto rendering the rest of the right side purple areas. Next, I moved onto the left side until all the purple areas were complete. I continued to use dry brush technique for the trench coat. The dry brush technique brings out shapes and textures while dragging the paint across the paper. Rendered with Faber-Castell PITT artist pens and Liquitex paint.
Been looking forward to sharing this with you! My indie comic magazine Unique Realm Illustrated Issue 2 featuring Twisted Fate written by Chris Munoz and artwork by me. It’s been back from the printer for a little bit, but hadn’t had the change to share until now. Looking forward to adding this to my website store soon.
I haven’t had a chance to share these custom Zombie Tramp Shoes with you yet. These were challenging yet fun create since I typically paint more realism. I can now share because they were officially delivered to the client at WonderCon.
On March 15 & 16, I will be exhibiting at the Latino Comics Expo in Modesto, CA. Here is the finished Disney animation style on my character Nyx with the background all finished up. She is the main character of Twisted Fate featured in my indie comic magazine Unique Realm Illustrated. Looking forward to having this made as a new shirt design.
Here is my process for creating the background for this illustration. After scanning the traditional Nyx painting, I then imported it in Photoshop. The background design was created using both Illustrator and Photoshop. The main moon background was digitally paint and placed into the Mucha border frame. Border elements were created in Illustrator and imported into Photoshop. Each design element was placed on different layers until the look that I was going for came together.
